Shoot the Breeze: It’s Another Free Edition
Hi Friends!
Welcome! Here's another free Tuesday edition of Shoot the Breeze, an ordinarily private newsletter for paid subscribers. To showcase some of the perks of supporting California Mishegoss, I'm opening this newsletter to everyone for the next few weeks.
There are many ways to help support us without paying, including referring others to this newsletter, which is also rewarded with free membership.
So don't be afraid to think outside the box!
Be Well! Stay Safe!

How many times have you been told to "Stop and Smell the Roses or FLowers" in your lifetime?
If like me, I've heard it over and over throughout my 60+ years of life. The question I ask myself is, have I done it? That's an emphatic no!
I don't know why I didn't stop, although if I had to answer someone like my Mom, I don't have the time.
As I grew older, I realized I needed to make time, but as I traveled a lot, I could never find the correct flowers to smell.
The following article from Jonathan Carey, Senior Associate Editor of Atlas Obscura, has solved my dilemma and maybe yours.

While I usually try to keep stories about California out of Tuesday's edition, I thought this story would fit right in terms of privacy.
I've never been to a nude beach, but I have had the opportunity floated by me over the years; I just never took the invite.
I guess I'm bashful or just scared of how to handle things that may pop up, so to speak.
So have some fun in the sun, but don't forget the sunblock.
