Hey Friends!
New things are happening in this newsletter. Whether we keep them is up to you.
A New Section title California Kaleidoscope of Science is on the agenda this week. We may add new sections for Tech, and other topics we don’t usually cover. The sections will be based on reading stats. If the section seems to do well it will be weekly. If on the other hand it flops, which could happen it will go away.
That’s for all sections we try out. If there are more than 2 sections that seem to be popular we will rotated them weekly.
We figured with a name like California Mishegoss there needs to be more to this insane, crazy, and mad newsletter besides what we post already.
Enjoy Your Read Today!

Oysters rule the following dish: Hangtown fry. While I'm not an oyster lover, the dish sounds amazing, especially since it's from the Gold Rush days in California.
Susan Guerrero, Food Writer for SF Gate, takes us on a journey on this dish from 1849.

Looking for lunch in San Francisco for 65 cents? You read that right. I’s something you never see on Market street where lunches can run from $15 to $20 at the least.
Today's story in California Kaleidoscope of Science is about a trial between the City of Alameda and scientists and their attempt to brighten clouds.
The story's primary theme is making clouds brighter to reflect the sun and send heat into space.
The project, among the first of its kind, involved spraying saltwater on the deck of a former aircraft carrier moored at a city pier. The scientists behind it planned to test devices that can create and measure plumes of aerosols.Â
Even Bush for NBC News fills in the rest on this controversial topic and trial.
