Here are 5 things we thought might interest you!
The decision for Your Golden State was made over a few cups of San Francisco Bay Coffee. It is more professional and relatable to the newsletter and our state. Plus, it sounds better if you're thinking of printing a quarterly magazine. It's not just better and more professional, but more importantly, less confusing when you read it.
I’m enjoying a San Francisco Bay Coffee while writing this, along with listening to Jimmy Buffett live at Fenway Park.

When I think of Disney, I still remember the massive mountain ride, the Matterhorn, a feat of imagination back in 1963 when I first visited Disney Land.
Then Patti took me there later in my life, and of course, there were some new rides, but the Matterhorn was still there, just named Space Mountain rather than the Matterhorn!
Now it’s Star Wars, the Avengers, and so much more. But wait. there’s more!
Gavin Doyle, writing in the Mickey Visit newsletter, has the entire changes coming so far.

I haven’t done any hiking here in California, but I read about many excellent hiking places, and Chantry Flat was one of them until it closed over four years ago with the Bobcat fire.
In September 2020, the Bobcat Fire burned over 100,000+ acres of national forest in Southern California.
Now things are opening up, and Erin Rode, Contributing LA Outdoors Editor, has the complete details.

105 years ago, A&W was the place to go and be seen. Over the years, it’s always been a place to go and be seen. Of course, things have changed for A&W, but life lives on.

A Burbank Steak House has served tons of celebrities' steaks and other delectable foods for over 70 years.

I've been told by many here on the West Coast since I moved here and a few fans on the East Coast that if I want the best of the best once cream, I need to go to Santa Barbara and have McConnell's.
Tessa Mclean, California Editor, Sf Gate, seems to agree. Here's the story.
