Good Morning! It’s December 7th: 10 things we thought were worth sharing.
Disneyland, British Band Sports Team, Italian Restaurant
There are a few housekeeping issues before we get going.
1. If you have a favorite City or area in California you want us to cover, send us the information and possibly a local paper that we can check out.
2. If there is a topic you want. us to cover, let us know.
3. If you have an issue, want to complain, or just want to say hello, write to us at markjohn@markjohnclifford.com(this link doesn’t work). Attn: Patti & Mark YGSV
Now back to regular programming!
So we’re at the end of the year, or close to it anyway. I posted a survey the other day to get some ideas on topics, hoping to get some ideas for the New Year and, more importantly, how we’re doing.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could chime in and give us some of your ideas. Here’s the link.
We want to take this opportunity to thank all the free subscribers, both old and new, the paid subscribers who have recently joined our community, and the paid subscribers who renewed their subscriptions. We plan to make 2025 a great year!
Also, I’m changing a few things this week as I attempt to make this newsletter tighter in appearance and content. Hang in there; it’s going to get better.
Be Well! Stay Safe!
This article is for all the Disneyland fanatics out there, which Patti and I claim to be part of. We haven’t been in a while, but don’t ever think we don’t want to go. Our time is coming—maybe yours is soon—so here you go.

Being from the East, Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen, and most of them are good. However, since moving to California, I haven’t found many that can compete with ones back East until now. Here’s a restaurant in LA serving 21 tons—that's correct, tons a month of spaghetti.
Looking for a job that has great views, few people to deal with, alone most of the time, decent pay, but requires a great deal of work, pays 140K for Two? If yes than here’s the perfect job, or maybe no perfect, but close to it.

If you enjoy a great hike and want to take this hike, remember it’s the hike among hikes, and they only give 50 permits a day. Maybe it’s time you took a hike, or at least this one.
Photo Break
Leave it to LA. Imagine an 8-story-tall, 11,000 sq. ft. 30-year-old mural of retired LA Chamber Orchestra musicians you can see from the 110/Harbor Freeway as it turns off to the northbound 101 freeway. Would you expect anything less from LA? I think not!
It’s Christmas time, and of course, everyone, or at least most adults, wants to know where to see Christmas lights for the kids. However, knowing we are all kids at heart during this time, you know you want to see the lights also.
Here’s a list from visitclifornia.com for you to enjoy, I mean the kids to enjoy. Merry Christmas!
