CM #31:Anchors Away, Otter the Thief, What’s Skiplagging?
Hi Friends!
It’s Saturday the 15th of July.
We’re already halfway through the month and things are heating up literally. In Fresno, the temp is expected to reach 111-112. After 100 it’s just a number and still hot as heck.
Have a great weekend and week ahead!
Be Well! Stay Safe!

Alert! Alert!
I have a BOLO(be on the lookout) for you today: If you happen to be in Santa Cruz this week surfing or enjoying the surf and see this Otter please don’t attempt to catch her. She’s armed with a nasty attitude and teeth to boot. Call the Animal Control Officers in Santa Cruz.
(1) How about we build something?
When I was a kid, which was ages ago I was more into Lincoln Logs than Legos’. Even Erector sets were more my type since it was using my hands and mind to build things. I know you use your hands with Legos and your mind, but erector sets were cool. Steel girders you put together with screws, nuts, and tools. My Grandfather’s tools to be honest.
Here’s what Lego Land wants you to know now!
At the risk of stating the obvious, weekdays outside of school holidays and major events, allow for the most leisurely experience you'll find at Legoland California. If you can't swing that, early mornings and late afternoons will allow you to still blaze a trail to the most popular attractions without much hassle. In the summer months, that means heading in early and jumping into the resort's Sea Life Aquarium or onto a slide at the attached Legoland water park at mid-day.

(5) SF Gate Gives Us the Inside Scoop On The Northern Lights Music Festival
The 2023 Northern Nights Music Festival takes place July 14-16 and there are still tickets available, ranging from around $150 to $600 as of publication time (you can even add on camping and parking spots, too). Read on for everything you need to know about this NorCal music festival that celebrates tunes, weed, art and nature.
Where is the Northern Nights Music Festival?
You could argue that the Northern Nights Music Festival's location — in the nation's largest redwood campground — is the true headliner. Straddling Mendocino and Humboldt counties at Cook's Valley Campground, a few hours north of San Francisco, the gently flowing Eel River and towering redwood forests make a whimsical backdrop for the art, music and weed-filled weekend. And you can support the surrounding economy by buying from the mostly local lineup of vendors, which includes independent cannabis purveyors and farmers that define the lush area.
