we added a trip outside of California for a little fun…

Hi Friends!
Here’s this week’s edition of 7 Days of 7 Things-To-Do. Although, I did add one more post at the end if it’s worth it. Hope that works for everyone.
Enjoy the Weekend!

#1: 10 Bucket List Destinations for a Family When Visiting Northern California
Northern California is one of the most beautiful places in the US for family getaways, thanks to having a stunning coastline, gorgeous nature, beautiful towns and cities, and some of the best family-friendly attractions. Every destination in this list offers something unique for everyone, and regardless of how many times one visits, they are always full of surprises. Whether looking for a perfect day trip, weekend getaway, or planning to stick around for a longer period, this region never disappoints. Here are the bucket-list-worthy destinations for families in Northern California.
#2: New Sparkling Drink Debuts at Disney
The drink didn’t blow us away, but it wasn’t bad. We wish that it could’ve been mixed a little better — there was a ton of Blue Curaçao at the bottom of the glass. We also detected hints of sugar and tropical flavoring.
Please be advised that there is a limit of two drinks that can be sold per person, per transaction.
What’s your favorite drink at Hollywood Lounge? Let us know in the comments below.
In the meantime, check out some of our other articles from Disney California Adventure:
#3: Imagination Park in San Anselmo Will Fulfill Your Need For More Yoda and Indiana Jones Imagination
HEAD TO THE FAR END of this inviting park, and you’ll find familiar, sculpted faces waiting to greet you. The statues are rich with detail and memorialize two of the cinematic world’s most iconic characters.
Located in the downtown of picturesque San Anselmo, Imagination Park commemorates the birthplace of George Lucas’ two masterpieces, Star Wars and Indiana Jones, with two “life-sized” statues of Yoda and Indiana Jones.
#4: Visiting Treasure Island in the Bay Area
Treasure Island (TI for short) has one hell of a history and an equally exciting future. The artificial, 400-acre island is almost halfway between San Francisco and Oakland and was constructed on a landfill for the 1939-1940 Golden Gate International Exposition, or World’s Fair. Airplane hangars once existed on TI, from Pan Am’s seaplane activity and since-dashed hopes for Treasure Island to become a central airport hub. The onset of World War II saw the Navy take over the island for military training, intake and send-off of 4.5 million sailors, submarine cleaning, and subsequent toxic waste storage. The SF Fire Department has also had its intense training facility on TI for the last 30 years, but it will relocate in 2024.
#5: Are You Hungry Enough For a Food Festival in Santa Monica?
Food lovers better be really hungry at this food festival because forget about getting tiny little tasting portions, at EEEEEATSCON Los Angeles, you’re seriously going to eat.
“These aren’t going to be these little cups of food. We really want the chefs from these vendors to serve dishes they’re really proud of, not these tiny little one-bite things,” said Brant Cox, restaurant curator for the festival, which returns to the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on May 20-21.
#6: Enjoying The Charm of La Presa in San Diego County, California
La Presa, California, is a hidden gem tucked away in San Diego County, offering residents and visitors a myriad of benefits that make this quaint city worth exploring. Boasting everything from outdoor activities and beautiful parks to mouthwatering food and family-friendly entertainment, La Presa has something for everyone. In this article, we'll dive into the top reasons why living in La Presa is such a delight, so get ready to be charmed by this beautiful city.
#7: A Visit To Six Flags Isn’t a Bad Idea
Based out of Valencia, California, just outside of the City of Angels, Six Flags Magic Mountain is a nationally famous amusement park that is well known for adrenaline-packed fun, and high-speed thrills. For roller coaster lovers, Six Flags Magic Mountain just might be the best amusement park in the world. The park is home to the most roller coasters in a single park, and several of the rides are record-breakers due to their height, speed, and novelty.
In truth, Six Flags Magic Mountain is all about pushing the envelope in exhilarating fun experiences, and that is a huge part of why it is such a popular destination for Californians and outsiders alike.
#Extra: A Short Trip Outside of California
EVEN WITHOUT ITS BLOODY HISTORIC ties, Poenari Castle, also known as Poenari Fortress, would be a majestic, exciting place to explore on its own merit. Architecture buffs would marvel at the 13th century mortar work, lovers of fantastic scenery would find the cliffside view mind-blowing. Poenari Castle doesn’t need a sordid story to be spectacular, but it happens to have that as well.
That’s a wrap for this edition…
